Clifford Symposium to Discuss Attorney-Client Relationship
Press Release, 02/20/2007The 13th Annual Clifford Symposium on Civil Justice, Tort Law and Social Policy will offer a two-day
seminar on "Challenges to the Attorney-Client Relationship:Threats to Sound Advice?"
The Symposium will be held April 19-20 at the Harold Washington Library Center, 400 S. State St., Chicago. It is free and open to the public upon registration. Reservations are accepted by calling 312-362-5826. Under CLE rules, 7.75 credit hours are offered for attending the symposium.
Faculty from around the country will explore the relationship between lawyers and their clients and the new pressures found today in medical care settings, under government regulation reporting requirements and in the corporate world. Stephan Landsman, Professor at DePaul University College of Law, is Chair of the Symposium.
Robert A. Clifford, nationally renowned trial attorney, endowed DePaul with a generous grant in 1994 that provides for the symposium.
