Robert A. Clifford, partner at Clifford Law Offices, spoke at the 2014 International Air and Transportation Law Conference in November.
The three-day program in November, “Aviation Law and Regulations: The Past, The Present and The Future,” featured an all-star faculty of aviation attorneys from across the country as well as governmental heads including the Acting Chairman and Chairman Nominee of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), Hon. Christopher A. Hart, and NTSB General Counsel David Tochen, as well as the U.S. Department of Justice Assistant Director of Aviation (now retired) Kathlynn G. Fadely. The Hon. Nicholas G. Garaufis, U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern District of New York, also served on a panel as did the Hon. Alfonso Montano, Chief Administrative Law Judge for the NTSB.
Clifford was part of the opening panel that discussed: “How Did We Get Here? The Development of International and Domestic Aviation Law and Regulation.” Clifford has been involved in nearly every commercial air disaster in the United States over his nearly four decades of practicing law.
The program, which was held in New York, was sponsored by the International Air and Transportation Safety Bar Association.
