Robert A. Clifford, senior partner at Clifford Law Offices, will be demonstrating an opening statement in “The Trial of Wyatt Earp” at the American Bar Association’s Boot camp Trial Training for Young Lawyers in Scottsdale, Arizona, April 9.

A number of top trial attorneys from around the country will gather to put on a day-long mock trial of Wyatt Earp with the Hon. Marvin J. Garbis of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland serving as the presiding judge. The mock trial will re-enact the case against Earp in the case involving one of the Wild West’s most famous gun battles at the O.K. Corral on Oct. 26, 1881 — did Earp, his two brothers and Doc Holliday kill three men and injure three others out of justifiable fear for their own lives or to rid themselves of personal enemies?

The ABA Section of Litigation, in conjunction with the Litigation Institute for Trial Training, is presenting the “Anatomy of a Trial” at its Section Annual Conference at the Phoenician Hotel.
