Bailey (2020 IL App (1st) 182702) is a case decided Sept. 30, 2020, by the First District Appellate Court where the court held that plaintiff was denied a fair trial when her request at trial was denied to give a nonpattern jury instruction on the loss of chance doctrine.
This year the four-hour seminar will be held two days: Dec. 1. and Dec. 3, from 10 a.m. to noon and offers four hours of continuing legal education credit. Several other topics will be discussed including the impact of COVID-19 on medical malpractice cases and the Hon. Lorna E. Propes of the Cook County Circuit Court Law Division discussing the judicial perspective of the courts.
The program is open to ITLA members only for $50. To register, go here.
