Sarah F. King, partner at Clifford Law Offices, has been sworn in as First Vice President of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois (WBAI).
An advocate for women in law as well as the women she represents in her medical malpractice and personal injury practice, Sarah’s drive and passion are deeply rooted in the betterment of the legal profession and legislation. She has held multiple leadership roles with the WBAI, serving on its Board of Directors since 2018, most recently as Second Vice President, as well as Chair of the Judicial Evaluation Committee, and on numerous Annual Dinner and Judicial Reception committees.
Sarah’s promotion of women in law extends to her leadership in other organizations including the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association Board of Directors where she was a co-founder of its Women’s Caucus, and the Women Everywhere Partners in Service Project, as a past President and a current member of the Board of Directors.

Sarah as well as all elected officers were sworn in at the 109th WBAI Installation Dinner & Awards Gala on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at The Field Museum in Chicago, Illinois.
