Keith A. Hebeisen, partner at Clifford Law Offices, will be honored by the Kane County Bar Association for forty years of outstanding service to the legal community.
Each year at its Annual Dinner, the Kane County Bar Association, the oldest association in the state, celebrates members who have reached significant milestones in their careers. The 2023 semi-formal event, “A Starry Night,” will be held on June 1 at Eagle Brook Country Club in Geneva, Illinois.
Throughout his career, Keith Hebeisen has cultivated a matter-of-fact style in the courtroom and a thoroughness in his approach to investigations, preparedness, and delivery of his cases, resulting in countless successful resolutions for his clients. His experience, skills, and ability to forge relationships with clients have led him to become one of the most respected attorneys in Illinois for his work on complex personal injury cases concentrated in the area of medical malpractice.
“Since the start of my career, the legal field has changed tremendously. The advances we have made with technology alone have transformed the courtroom, how attorneys approach a case, and how firms operate on a daily basis. What has remained the same is the importance of hard work, determination, and the willingness to take risks as a lawyer. Life and work have taught me a great deal and look forward to imparting those lessons and skills to young attorneys through mentorship and leadership within the trial bar for years to come.”

Beyond his excellence in the courtroom and the notoriety he has received from major verdicts, settlements, and appeals, Keith has earned numerous awards and accolades for his work including induction into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers in 2010 and the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2011. He has been awarded by U.S. News Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and Illinois Leading Lawyers. In 2019, Keith was acknowledged for achieving one of the top 100 verdicts in the country and one of the top 10 verdicts in Illinois.
A portrait of Keith’s father, Neil C. Hebeisen, who was a member of the KCBA into the 1970s, still hangs in the old courthouse and reminds Keith of his legacy within the community and brings him great pride to be recognized alongside his father.
Congratulations, Keith, on this recognition and for your tremendous accomplishments!
