Robert P. Walsh, partner at Clifford Law Offices, has been appointed associate judge of the 18th Judicial Circuit Court, DuPage County.
Chief Judge Bonnie M. Wheaton of the 18th Circuit in Illinois announced on February 27, 2025, that following a tabulation of ballots by the Administrative Office of Illinois Courts, Walsh was appointed to the position of Associate Judge. Walsh fills the vacancy created from the retirement of Associate Judge James D. Orel.
Walsh started with Clifford Law Offices 40 years ago. He is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law and clerked at Clifford Law Offices during law school. He was admitted to the practice of law in Illinois in 1986. Walsh became an associate at the firm and then partner at Clifford Law Offices in 2000.
Walsh is a current member of the American Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers’ Association, DuPage County Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and the Fenwick Bar Association. Mr. Walsh is currently serving on the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Character and Fitness.
