Robert A. Clifford, senior partner at Clifford Law Offices, was named one of Chicago Magazine’s Top 100 Most Powerful Chicagoans in 2013.
In the issue that just hit the newsstands, Clifford is listed among the household words in Chicago including Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan, Chairman of the Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox Jerry Reinsdorf, U.S. Senator Dick Durbin, Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan, Governor Pat Quinn and Lester Crown, to name a few.
In naming Clifford, 61, one of the Top 100, Chicago Magazine wrote, “This pitbull is the unofficial dean of the Chicago legal community, with an enviable string of victories and high-profile leadership roles in law groups.”

Clifford Law Offices, a nationally recognized personal injury and wrongful death law firm, also was named this week as one of the nation’s top 10 Litigation Boutiques by the National Law Journal for 2012. In selecting the firm, Editor Leigh Jones wrote, “They may be small, but they command attention. She went on to write that, “Whether they’re working on the plaintiff’s or defense side of big pharma, big oil, white-collar or agriculture matters, the lawyers practicing at these streamlined shops set precedents, righted wrongs or saved companies during 2012.”
