Robert A. Clifford, founder and senior partner at Clifford Law Offices, was given the Award of Honor by the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation at its Fourth Annual Valor Luncheon yesterday at a very touching ceremony filled with Chicago’s finest (Oct. 14, 2015).
Clifford, a nationally recognized personal injury and consumer litigation attorney in Chicago, has been a supporter of the Foundation since its inception with former Chicago Police Supt. Philip J. Cline, who was in attendance. WGN-AM radio host Roe Conn emceed the fourth annual event.
Chicago Police Supt. Garry McCarthy awarded Clifford the honor to a packed crowd at Harry Caray’s Seventh Inning Stretch Restaurant that included many of Chicago’s police officers. Two officers received the Award of Valor of their work involving a gunman shooting at officers last year that resulted in the saving of an officer’s life.
The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation recognizes exceptional police work and service to the community by presenting the Award of Valor and the Award of Honor to deserving individuals at its annual Valor Lunch event.
The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to honoring the lives and memories of our fallen heroes. The Foundation provides support and assistance to the families of Chicago Police Officers who were killed or catastrophically injured in the line of duty. All proceeds raised by the Foundation go to help the families of Chicago Police officers injured or killed.
