Robert A. Clifford, founder and senior partner at Clifford Law Offices; Kevin P. Durkin, partner at the firm, and Tracy A. Brammeier, associate attorney, will be receiving the Trial Lawyer Excellence recognition at the Jury Verdict Reporter’s annual reception and awards ceremony on October 25, 2022. In particular, the event, sponsored by the Law Bulletin Publishing Company, will recognize them for their work on a case involving a woman who was dragged by a truck, for which they received a $35 million verdict. It was the highest reported Illinois verdict or settlement in a pedestrian case in 2018. Bradley M. Cosgrove, partner at the firm, will also be recognized for his multi-million-dollar verdicts.
The reception and awards ceremony takes place in the West Tower Crystal Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Chicago with a wonderful view of the river and Chicago skyline. The event will take place from 4:30-7 p.m. with awards being presented at 6 p.m.
