Kevin P. Durkin, partner, has been with the firm since 1988. He has become recognized as a top attorney in the Chicago area for his work on complex personal injury litigation, aviation law, and product liability cases. Kevin was named the 2022 Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” in the Chicago area for Product Liability and holds many more achievements and accolades including 2021 Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” in the Chicago area for Aviation Law and the Chicago “Lawyer of the Year” accolade for over five years in several practice areas including, Plaintiffs’ Product Liability Litigation and Plaintiffs’ Personal Injury Litigation.
Kristofer S. Riddle, partner, began with the firm in 2008. His kindhearted nature and devotion to reaching justice help him connect with clients and determine the best possible solution for them. Kris’ work concentrates on highly complex transportation liability and consumer class action matters. He has handled large cases including the Amtrak derailment in DuPont, Washington in 2017, and is currently the lead partner on another Amtrak derailment that occurred in 2021 in Montana, killing three and injuring dozens of others. Throughout his career, Kris has received numerous awards and recognitions for his work ethic and results including a Trial Lawyer Excellence Award and Chicago Lawyer’s Top Forty Lawyers in Illinois Under 40 Award.
Sarah F. King, partner, is a hard-working rising medical malpractice attorney in Chicago. She joined Clifford Law offices in 2011 and has consistently proven herself to be a determined young attorney having received verdicts totaling nearly $300 million. Her dedication to her clients and persistence to resolve cases demonstrates the pride she takes in her work and her goal to deliver results to those affected by medical malpractice. A leader in the legal community, she is a regularly featured speaker at association meetings and sits on several association boards including the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
