Clifford Law Offices is a sponsor of the 2024 Lawyers’ Assistance Program (LAP) Annual Awards Dinner, which will take place on October 10 at the Brookfield Zoo. The event celebrates those who have advocated for or utilized the program over the past year.
Appellate Court Justice Jesse Reyes (1st Dist.) is the honored guest and keynote speaker for the event themed “Step Into a New Adventure: Pave Your Path to Wellness.” LAP is a non-profit dedicated to helping Illinois judges, lawyers, and law students get assistance with substance use, addiction, and mental health problems.
Other honorees include Cook County Circuit Court Chief Judge Timothy Evans, who will receive the Hon. John Powers Crowley Award for his contributions to LAP’s goals. Attorneys Lester Munson, Matthew S. Sims, Lisa G. Williams, and Dr. Roueen Rafeyan will also receive awards.
The event will take place on October 10 at the Brookfield Zoo, 8400 W. 31st St. Guests will roam the zoo beginning at 3:00 p.m., followed by a 5 p.m. reception, auction, and raffle. Dinner and the program begin at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $150 per person.
