Each Christmas season, Clifford Law Offices participates in the Chicago Bar Association’s (CBA) Letters to Santa Program, which serves the city’s underprivileged children and families.
Current data from the U.S. Census reports that just over 17% of all Chicago citizens under the age of 18 are living under the poverty line. As the holidays approach, these children anticipate gifts that might be difficult for them to receive.
That’s where Clifford Law Offices and other Chicago attorneys step in. Organized by the CBA Young Lawyers Section, attorneys can sign up to receive a letter written by a Chicago child to Santa. Attorneys are assigned a “Dear Santa” letter and fulfill the wishes of the writer and their family, delivering gifts before Christmas.
Tracy A. Brammeier, partner at Clifford Law Offices and Second Vice Chair of the YLS, helps the firm coordinate their involvement each year.
Clifford Law Offices is thrilled to once again participate in this Chicago tradition and help spread joy this holiday season.
