Attorneys Sarah F. King and Charles R. Haskins of Clifford Law Offices co-moderated the Chicago Bar Association Annual Motion Practice Seminar that featured five judges from the Cook County Law Division.
Kicking off the two hours was the Division’s Chief Judge James P. Flannery, Jr., who spoke about how the pandemic has affected jury trials and practicing in Cook County. Also speaking were Hon. John H. Ehrlich, who presented on remote case management, Hon. Christopher E. Lawler, who presented on remote pre-trials, Hon. James E. Snyder who presented news and practice pointers from the commercial calendar and Hon. Lorna Propes who spoke about Zoom jury selection and trials. The program was attended by over 180 registrants, one of the CBA’s most highly attended CLE programs of the year.
