On February 16, 2017, Clifford Law Offices will sponsor a free webinar called, “Social Media Ethics Outside and in the Courtroom”.
The Illinois Supreme Court has appointed a commission that is looking into formulating rules to cover this area with a report expected in 2017, but before then, our panel will give you a number of important insights on how you should – and should not – conduct yourself consistent with your obligations under the rules of professional conduct. Panelists for the complimentary webinar will include:
· John M. Barkett, Partner, Shook, Hardy & Bacon, Miami, Florida
· Hon. Lynn M. Egan, Cook County Circuit Court; Illinois Supreme Court Executive Committee
· Mark C. Palmer, Professionalism Counsel, Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism
