Joseph T. Murphy, partner at Clifford Law Offices, was elected to the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) Assembly in a contested race in Cook County.
Murphy was among 30 candidates running for 17 positions on the governing body of the statewide organization. John T. Kalantzis, also an attorney at Clifford Law Offices, already holds a seat on the 203-member Assembly as well as is a member of the Torts Law Committee.
Murphy will be sworn in at the 2023 ISBA Annual Meeting in Chicago on June 9, 2023.
