Nearly 3,000 lawyers and judges attended the webinar sponsored by Clifford Law Offices, “The Ethics of Client Communications,” Thursday at DePaul University College of Law. The free program was approved for two hours of professional responsibility credit in Illinois.
Also, the program was approved by the Commission on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of Ohio, and some Ohio lawyers attended for the two-hour program as well and will receive two hours of ethics instruction credit. The program, the seventh in an annual series, was available on all mobile devices as well.
More than 100 people attended in person and thousands more on the internet in a program moderated by senior partner Robert A. Clifford. Also on the panel were Illinois Appellate Court Justice, First District, Justice Maureen Connors; James J. Grogan, Deputy Administration and Chief Counsel of the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission (ARDC) and Sara Parikh, Ph.D., Managing Director at Leo Shapiro & Associates, a Chicago behavior and research firm.
Anecdotally, many have commented that it is the largest CLE program in the state of Illinois. To view the taped program for no CLE credit, go to www.CliffordLaw.com.
