Pamela Sakowicz Menaker was sworn in on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, for her third three-year term as a Catholic Lawyers Guild of Chicago board member at its 2024 Annual Meeting. She was sworn in with 19 other lawyers and judges including Chief Justice of the Illinois Supreme Court Mary Jane Theis.
The election and swearing-in of officers and members of the Board of Governors of the Guild was followed by a reception at Jenner & Block in Chicago. Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County Timothy Evans swore in the Board members, and Chief Justice of the Illinois Supreme Court Mary Jane Theis swore in the 2024-25 President Pamela Rubeo, Assistant Appellate Defender at the Office of the State Appellate Defenders Office.
Menaker, Communications Partner at Clifford Law Offices, previously served two terms on the Board from 2012 – 2018, as well as President of the Guild from 2019-2020.
The Catholic Lawyers Guild is a Chicago-based bar association organized to promote its members’ social, intellectual, temporal, and spiritual welfare.
