Pamela Sakowicz Menaker, Communications Partner at Clifford Law Offices, has been named to a two-year term on the Board of Managers of the Chicago Bar Association (CBA).
Menaker, who currently serves on the CBA’s Judicial Evaluation Committee, Public Affairs Committee and CBA Record Editorial Board, was chosen as one of eight members of the new Board. A CBA Nominating Committee selected 16 lawyers and judges vying for the eight positions.
Also among those selected were Hon. Thomas M. Durkin, federal judge of the Northern District of Illinois and brother of Kevin P. Durkin, partner at Clifford Law Offices.
Menaker also is in a contested race for the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) Board of Governors for Cook County. Ballots were emailed March 28 and results are expected to be announced in April. Menaker has served two three-year terms on the ISBA Assembly as well as on the ISBA Journal Editorial Board and its Marketing Committee.
Menaker also is an adjunct professor at Northwestern University’s graduate program at the Medill School of Journalism, teaching “Law, Policy and Ethics of Marketing” to graduate students in the Integrated Marketing Communications program.
