Robert A. Clifford, founder and senior partner at Clifford Law Offices, has been invited to be part of the American Bar Association Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) Aviation Conference in Washington, D.C. Oct. 24.
Clifford is part of a panel addressing the issue of “Is Self-Certification Adequate Pre-Flight?” Last month Clifford was named Lead Counsel in the crash in Ethiopia of a Boeing 737 Max8 jet, a plane whose certification has come under intense scrutiny.
The two-day conference is part of TIPS Aviation and Space Law Committee program on “The Aviation Lawyer’s Operating Handbook: Learning to Litigate, Navigate, and Communicate” that will be held at the Ritz Carlton in the nation’s capital. To register, contact danielle.daly@americanbar.org.
The program features representatives from the aviation field including those in insurance, government, manufacturing as well as the legal field. It offers legal updates as well as practical tips and trial tactics and is approved for CLE credit.
