Robert Clifford Honored as One of Forbes Top 200 Lawyers in America

Robert A. Clifford, founder and senior partner at Clifford Law Offices, was among the honorees Thursday, May 23, 2024, in New York when Forbes magazine presented its inaugural America’s Top 200 Lawyers.

For the first time in its 107-year history, Forbes was honoring America’s top lawyers – those who have been involved in the most consequential recent cases, deals, and legal trends. “This exclusive event will include insights from celebrated attorneys involved in some of the country’s most important legal issues, and an evening of inspiration, engaging conversation with peers, and well-earned recognition,” according to Forbes. The Forbes Top 200 Lawyers honorees were chosen from thousands of names collected via outside nominations, independent research, and direct outreach.

“The inaugural list of America’s Top 200 Lawyers highlights the finest practitioners in the profession—lawyers with stellar track records in their specialties, those who have broken barriers to emerge as leaders in their fields, and attorneys most respected by peers and clients,” according to Forbes

“I’m humbled to be selected to this inaugural list of America’s top lawyers by a highly respected publication that carefully examined all entrants,” Clifford said. “But aside from any awards, I take greatest pride in the privilege of representing innocent victims who need help in navigating their cases through the civil justice system to right the wrongful conduct of others.”

The elite lawyers on this list were selected through a rigorous, multi-stage process of researching, evaluating, and rating thousands of candidates, conducted by an editorial team with broad experience in law practice and the legal marketplace.
