Robert A. Clifford, founder and senior partner at Clifford Law Offices, was selected as a recipient of the National Law Journal’s 2024 Elite Trial Lawyers Lifetime Achievement Award. Clifford is among six nationwide award recipients, an honor reserved to recognize a career of outstanding achievement within the law profession.
For over four decades, Mr. Clifford has built a reputation of honesty and integrity, fighting for the rights of those who need the most support and protection following global catastrophic events. His career and impact have left a lasting impression on countless clients nationally and internationally, the next generation of tort attorneys, and the city of Chicago.

In making its selection, National Law Journal editors stated they rated thousands of lawyers through a multi-layer process and highlighted “the finest practitioners in the profession—lawyers with stellar track records in their specialties, those who have broken barriers to emerge as leaders in their fields, and attorneys most respected by peers and clients.”
