Sarah F. King, partner at Clifford Law Offices, has been appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to the Supreme Court Committee on Character and Fitness.
The Committee, created by the Court in 1971 under Rule 708, reviews applications of those seeking Illinois law licenses to determine whether each person “demonstrates whether each applicant presently possesses good moral character and general fitness for admission to the practice of law.”
King, who will be sworn in as President of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois (WBAI) on June 27th of this year, is involved in numerous bar association activities and is a highly successful personal injury lawyer focusing her practice on plaintiffs’ medical negligence cases.
“Sarah is very deserving of this appointment by the Supreme Court. She is a person of impeccable character as she demonstrates through her work on her cases and in her daily life,” said Robert A. King’s appointment in the First Judicial District (Cook County) runs until Dec. 31, 2026,
