Sarah F. King, partner at Clifford Law Offices, will sit on an expert panel at the Illinois Appellate Court, First District, on November 30, 2022, from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm.
The free continuing legal education event, entitled Making Your Appellate Court Record, is hosted by the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois (WBAI) and will cover a variety of issues that arise during trial. Sarah will be joined by attorneys John Duffy and Gretchen Harris Sperry, and Justice Jesse G. Reyes of the 1st District Appellate Court, as they discuss voir dire, objection, exhibits, offers of proof, the role of trial monitoring counsel, and jury instructions, among other topics.
An established medical malpractice attorney in Illinois, Sarah has worked extensively on complex medical malpractice cases, obtaining verdicts and settlements totaling nearly $300 million in less than a decade. Her dedication to pursuing justice is evident in her case preparation, trial delivery, and commitment to her clients. Sarah is the Second Vice President of the WBAI as well as the Parliamentarian at the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
