Sarah F. King, partner at Clifford Law Offices, will be co-moderating a Judicial Panel on May 18 with Kathy Byrne of Cooney & Conway hosted by the ITLA Women’s Caucus of which King is the current Chair.
The panel, consisting of Hons. Clare McWilliams, Janet Brosnahan, Maura Slatterly Boyle, all of the Cook County Law Division, and Kay M. Hanlon (Ret.) will provide a unique perspective on how arguments look and sound from the other side of the podium. The panel will also include a discussion on what changes attorneys, parties and jurors might expect in courtrooms as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic. “Trial Practice and Tips Judicial Panel” will be held from 10-11 a.m. and offers one hour of general CLE credit.
King also will be speaking May 22 at the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA) Annual Ethics Seminar on “Ethically Getting Cases.”
King, newly elected Parliamentarian of ITLA, has obtained numerous verdicts and settlements throughout the state, some of them are record amounts.
