Sarah F. King, partner at Clifford Law Offices and award-winning Chicago medical malpractice attorney, will be speaking at the Kentucky Justice Association’s 2022 Annual Convention on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, at the Westin Hotel in Cincinnati, OH.
Her presentation will address “The Power of Visual Persuasion,” providing strategies and resources that will allow lawyers to better advocate for their clients in live trials, over Zoom hearings, and during video evidence depositions.
In a 21st-century courtroom where technology growth and application are expected, visual advocacy is the key to communicating a client’s story and persuading the fact finder. King’s presentation will include a discussion about developing effective demonstrative exhibits, utilizing visual aids with witnesses and jurors, the nuts and bolts of courtroom technology, and the benefits of using mixed media in the workup and presentation of a case.
Sarah is one of Chicago’s respected medical malpractice attorneys who has earned trust in the field through her tireless work ethic and dedication to her clients. She works closely with her fellow partners at Clifford Law Offices on complex cases and has secured several multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts including a record $101 million verdict on behalf of a baby boy who was brain damaged at birth when his external fetal monitoring strips were ignored for six hours.
The Kentucky Justice Association provides Continuing Legal Education opportunities to its members through conferences and events such as its Annual Convention, seminars, and presentations, covering all aspects of trial law and introducing beneficial skills to trial lawyers.
