The Diversity Scholarship Foundation (DSF) has awarded Sarah F. King, partner at Clifford Law Offices, its 2025 Advocate for Diversity Award. King, who serves as President of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, was awarded the honor at the Foundation’s 2025 Unity Award Gala and 21st Swearing-In of Bar Presidents Ceremony on January 16, 2025, at the JW Marriott Chicago.
This award celebrates those individuals who have actively advocated and promoted diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. Other recipients of the award are Joel Bruckman, President, Decalogue Society of Lawyers; Donna Haddad, past President, Arab American Bar Association; Martin Quintana, past president of the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois; Hon. Judith C. Rice, Presiding Judge, Domestic Violence Division; Mark P. Rusin, Managing Partner, Rusin Law, Ltd.
The Diversity Scholarship Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to diverse and deserving law students in addition to presenting awards to individuals in the legal community who have demonstrated a commitment to diversity and inclusion in the profession. The Unity Award Gala, now in its eighteenth year, is the foundation’s premier fundraising event.
