Sarah F. King, partner at Clifford Law Offices, is scheduled to speak at the Society of Women Trial Lawyers’ Fall Conference on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at The Thompson Nashville Hotel in Nashville, TN.

The annual conference provides an opportunity for women in trial law to engage and network with other female attorneys while gaining valuable knowledge and insight from experienced attorneys in the field to improve their trial skills and earn Continuing Legal Education credits.

She will be addressing “The Power of Visual Persuasion” as a successful strategy to advocate for clients in live trials, over Zoom hearings, or during a video evidence deposition. Sarah’s presentation will include a dialogue about how to develop effective demonstrative exhibits, utilizing visual aids with witnesses and jurors, the nuts and bolts of courtroom technology, and the benefits of using mixed media in the workup and presentation of a case. She will introduce the growth and advancement of courtroom technology in the 21st century and explore the importance of using visual advocacy to communicate a client’s story.

A rising medical malpractice attorney in Illinois, Sarah’s dedication to pursuing justice is evident in her case preparation and delivery. She works closely with her fellow partners at Clifford Law Offices on complex cases and has secured several multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts in her time at the firm.

Sarah is actively involved in several bar associations including the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. Presenting regularly on topics surrounding trial law, she was the National Speaker at the Michigan Association of Justice Medical Malpractice Seminar in January 2022, and presented at the 2021 American Association for Justice Annual Convention in Las Vegas, sharing her expertise in “Crafting a Strong Opening in a Medical Negligence Case.”

The Society of Women Trial Lawyers Fall Conference is an in-person event open to licensed attorneys. The event plans to offer CLE credit hours provided by outstanding trial lawyers across the country providing attendees with valuable insight and knowledge.
