Two Partners at Clifford Law Offices Named 2024 Crain’s Notable Women in the Law

Susan A. Capra and Yvette C. Loizon, partners at Clifford Law Offices, have been named 2024 Crain’s Notable Women in the Law.

This honor is reserved for those who hold top roles at the firm and have worked on headline-making cases and those complex matters that garner top verdicts and settlements. They also are active in mentoring women at their firms and through their volunteer bar association and community service work. They also are noted to advocate for underrepresented people.

“All of us at Clifford Law Offices are proud of the work of these two experienced attorneys who have made an impact on personal injury law and on the profession,” said Robert A. Clifford, founder and senior partner at Clifford Law Offices. “Their tireless work over the years has served as a role model for so many and has led to justice for their clients.”

Capra has been an attorney at the firm for more than 30 years having made a mark in medical malpractice law, particularly for women and infants who have suffered due to negligence at birth. Capra volunteers often at the Chicago USO helping members of the military who are traveling through Chicago to their deployment.

Loizon has developed expertise in researching and writing appeals and motions on cases, often creating new laws in areas of first impression. The Illinois Trial Lawyers Association gave her the Amicus Curiae Award for her brief writing in support of cases. She was appointed as a Commissioner of the Interim Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability in Chicago.

    Congratulations!
